An OTP will be transmitted to the client's mobile telephone number on file at the Bank by short message service (SMS) through a telecommunication network. One Time Password (OTP): A One Time Password (OTP) refers to a password which is generated randomly by the Bank when a client uses one of the specific services offered under the Citibank Online Services provided by the Bank, and can be used only once before a specific deadline. The user password applies only to the Citibank Online Services provided by the Bank. User password: Refers to the user password set by a client by using their card number and PIN on the Bank's website. The user ID applies only to the Citibank Online Services provided by the Bank. User ID: Refers to the user ID set by a client by using their card number and PIN on the Bank's website. PIN: Refers to a client's Citibank ATM card/chip card strip PIN, Internet ID card PIN, or the Cash PIN for a credit card (including Diners cards)/Ready Cash card issued by the Bank. However, for services of a unique nature, the Bank may make a separate agreement regarding the service hours or disclose a separate set of service hours.Ĭard number: Refers to the card number on a client's Citibank ATM card/chip card/Internet ID card, credit card (including Diners cards), or Ready Cash card issued by the Bank. Service hours: Refers to the hours starting from 9 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, except for bank holidays. Citibank Online Services (network banking): Refers to the practice where a client connects his/her computer to the Bank's computer through the Internet and directly accesses the financial services provided by the Bank without having to visit a bank counter in person.Įlectronic messages: Refers to any text, voice, photos, images, symbols, or other information transmitted by the Bank or a client through an Internet connection, which is turned, by electronic or other means that cannot be directly recognized by human senses, into a record sufficient to indicate intent and used for electronic processing.
